Viztek Debuts Full-Featured Mammography PACS Viewer -

Integrates with Viztek Opal-RAD PACS and Any Q/R Standard Solution

Viztek, the Jacksonville-based radiology solution company, introduces a full-featured mammography viewer that seamlessly integrates with its Opal-RAD PACS solution as well as any PACS supporting DICOM Query/Retrieve to deliver high quality display of detailed mammography exams. The new multi-modality viewer eliminates the need for a separate mammography workstation and utilizes the same image database as general patient images for streamlined image management and storage. It supports diagnostic quality viewing of full-field digital mammography, (FFDM), CR and MR breast images.

In addition to all the standard PACS features, the new mammo viewer provides specialized mammography features including, Quad Zoom, chest wall justification with back-back breasts and measurement tools. It supports all major computer aided detection (CAD) systems, which can be launched from a viewer toolbar. The new Viztek mammography viewer is configurable for simultaneous gray-scale and color monitor capabilities.
