The Boston Sports and Shoulder Center Installs Viztek’s Opal-ORTHO PACS

Jacksonville, FL – Viztek, the radiology solution provider, announces installation of Opal-ORTHO PACS at The Boston Sports and Shoulder Center’s (BSSC) Waltham, MA facility. Viztek’s PACS in tandem with the facility’s CR has provided the physicians with image quality and speed not previously available.. Associated X-Ray Imaging Corp, a local dealer based in  Haverhill, MA completed the sale to BSSC, where the  the Boston Celtics’ team physician practices.

At BSSC, Opal-ORTHO PACS replaced an existing  PACS solution and now offers BSSC enterprise-level features and functionalities previously unavailable.

In addition to added speed and efficiency, Viztek’s PACS offers the multi-specialty facility tools that were designed specifically for the orthopedic practice. Along with the Web-based functionalities, the PACS also boasts a multitude of measuring and planning tools.
