November 6, 2009—Raleigh, NC— Viztek, the complete radiology solution provider, has installed the new and advanced Opal-CR at Park Avenue Family Practice of Yonkers, NY. The ambulatory care facility does a high volume of CR procedures, performing 40-50 x-ray exams daily. Park Avenue Family Practice purchased the Opal-CR to upgrade and replace their dated CR technology.

Viztek’s Opal-CR acquisition software is derived from the same market-leading technology as the Opal-RAD enterprise level PACS. The CR accepts four different cassette sizes and has a throughput of 56 plates per hour. Its efficient design fits conveniently on a table-top.
