Raleigh, NC—Viztek, the digital imaging solution provider, announces the sale of its ViZion tethered ViZion DR mobile units to Allied Mobile X-Ray in Miami, FL. Allied was able to successfully incorporate the DR systems into their fleet of mobile x-ray vehicles, servicing the entire state of Florida.
Allied is one of Florida’s largest mobile imaging providers, offering service to nursing homes, correctional facilities, long-term care facilities and the home healthcare market.
The Viztek ViZion tethered DR solution allows immediate onsite image availability within seconds after exposure. Mobile technicians no longer need to handle CR cassettes and transport them back to mobile units to process the images. Viztek’s software supports onsite image manipulation, storage and communication to alternate locations, such as referring physicians. This enables the mobile units and technicians to travel conveniently from facility to facility, without worrying about carrying cassettes or sending images.
Allied owner Eric Amar explains, “Viztek’s turnkey solution is perfect for the mobile industry. The image quality is great and the software allows my team of technicians to do everything they need to do, while still in the field. Convenience and the simple DR workflow process make this solution the best fit for my company.”
Viztek president Joe Cermin adds, “Viztek is very happy with the increasing popularity of the ViZion panel in the mobile market space. Our customers are easily able to realize the added efficiency and benefits to their existing workflow with our mobile solutions.”
