August 11, 2009—Jacksonville, FL— Viztek, the radiology solution provider, has been selected by In Her Image, West Caldwell, NJ, to provide PACS, RIS, and billing solutions for its new facility set to open within the next month. In Her Image will perform digital mammography, as well as dexa bone density, breast ultrasound and biopsy.
Viztek’s Opal-RAD PACS has full-scale mammography viewing capabilities, while retaining all its advanced multi-modality imaging capabilities. This eliminates the need for In Her Image to have separate workstations for different modalities and enables the use of a single image database for all exam report management.
In addition to Opal-RAD’s standard features, the mammography viewer provides the new facility with specialized features, including Quad Zoom, chest wall justification with back-back breasts and advanced measurement tools.
