Raleigh, NC—Viztek, the complete radiology solution provider, announced today it recorded significant sales growth for 2011, with a 25 percent increase in revenue across all of its solution categories.

The company noted a significant increase in its number of new installations across multiple service areas including 40 Opal-wRIS solutions, a dynamic web-based system for optimal workflow designed for facilities of all sizes. Users from various market places selected 350 Opal-RAD PACS solutions from Viztek in 2011, a stable system able to handle multiple modalities in various medical settings. Also implemented in 2011 were 580 DR panels, including both retrofit DR, new DR configurations, and the new ViZion mobile DR solution.

Viztek’s year-over-year growth saw solutions sold throughout the world in areas including the United States, Latin America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Africa.
