Hillel Bachrach has been appointed chairman of the board of Viztek, the Jacksonville-based medical software company. In his new position, Bachrach will oversee the company’s strategic expansion efforts and infrastructure enhancement to assist the planned growth.
Bachrach brings to Viztek over 30 years of experience managing and directing medical technologies companies. In 1993, Bachrach co-founded ESC Medical Systems (now Lumenis), one of the first medical laser/flash lamp companies addressing cosmetic applications. ESC completed a successful public offering on NASDAQ in 1996. In 1999, Bachrach co-founded MSq, Ltd., another innovator in the medical laser field.
Recently, Bachrach served as the CEO of Orex Computerized Radiography, a manufacturer of Computerized Radiography (CR) systems and software. He led the sale of Orex to Eastman Kodak in 2005.
Currently, Hillel Bachrach also is the managing partner of 20/20 HealthCare Partners, which provides equity financing for promising healthcare growth businesses as well as for buyouts and recapitalizations of established medical technology companies.

Hillel Bachrach holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a B.S in Electrical Engineering from Technion Israeli Institute of Technology.
