Raleigh, NC—Viztek, the digital imaging solution provider, has installed a second U-Arm DR for existing customer Patients First Health Care of Washington, MO. The Viztek U-Arm DR was installed in the new St. Clair facility. The multi-specialty physician group with 70 physicians and 16 locations has opened new facilities throughout the Missouri area.
Patients First received their first U-Arm in the spring of 2009 in the Walker Medical Building, one of their new facilities.
Director of Operations at Patients First, Bev Glosemeyer, explains, “Patients First chose the U-Arm DR because it met all of our St. Clair facility’s needs. We were very happy with our first installation and that impacted our decision to purchase another U-Arm DR for St. Clair.” The Viztek U-Arm is ideal for multiple applications, including general radiology for hospital radiology departments, imaging centers, and orthopedic facilities. A single U-Arm has often replaced multiple analog x-ray rooms, while meeting and even exceeding prior patient volume. The time required to complete each exam in turn frequently reduces the patient wait time as well. Viztek General Manager Bruce Ashby says, “The Viztek U-Arm DR is a great fit for Patients First Health Care.
