Viztek Opal-RAD Receives US FDA 510K Clearance New Integrated RIS/PACS to Spearhead Viztek’s Expansion

Viztek, the Jacksonville-based medical software company, has been awarded U.S. Federal Food and Drug (FDA) 510k clearance for its new Opal-RAD integrated RIS/PACS solution. The comprehensive image management and reporting system makes a full range of high-performance features available at an affordable price, bringing all the advantages of state-of-the-art digital imaging to small hospitals and clinics. The new Viztek system supports a higher standard of patient care and greater operational efficiency, while enhancing communications with referring physicians.
