Viztek, the Radiology Solution provider, has installed Opal-RAD PACS and RIS at Eiber Radiology in Hialeah, Florida. The system was installed on January 13th, 2013 and has been able to improve efficiencies for both the staff and physicians. Viztek was tasked to provide software that would increase the throughput potential of the already very busy imaging center. Eiber Radiology has not only the common modalities, but also performs radiology services for PET, CT, and Mammography. Finding one system that is able to manage the workflow and reading needs for all of the modalities was a challenge for Eiber radiology. Viztek toolsets for all modalities can be managed from a single software solution, reducing the needs to manage separate software vendor relationships.
